- [Karl] Okay, we're gonna go ahead and get started. So welcome everybody, Karl Johnson here, vice president of sales at iClick. Wanna thank you for joining the call today. We're gonna talk about growing sales and the new normal. And a lot of the new normal certainly is uncertainty at this point, but we have established some opportunities that have worked for a lot of our distributor partners and I wanna walk through some of those case studies and examples, highlights some products that really have become essential, during this time, and feature a couple of brand new tech products that we've just launched as well, that are extremely relevant right now. So that's kind of the agenda for today and I wanna remind everybody there are handouts available that you can download right now. We will be sending out a recording of the call that will also have those as attachments as well. At the end, we do have a special offer for you guys for being on the call today, so stick around for that as well. So, everyone's by this point established their supply chain for your PPE essentials, your face masks, and the hand sanitizers, et cetera. So we're gonna talk about, again, some relevant products within the tech space. I spent 10 years before iClick in digital media and advertising. So I look at a lot of this through that lens and knowing what buy advertising and marketing clients were looking for. And certainly one of the things as we come out of this and businesses start to re-engage, whether they're reopening or looking at marketing spend, they're gonna be certainly more discerning or at least as discerning in terms of where those investments were made. And so one of the things that we always look at iClick, is what we call the value of mobile real estate. And this is really your smartphone and everything connected to this. It's just an amazing value. So I know that my clients in the digital media space where really the two top things at the top of their list, and this is certainly gonna be prevalent now moving forward, are obviously demonstrated are high, and then your highest intact impression for the lowest cost. So a value high value impact impression. And in our space we can certainly make the case that the smartphone, the back of the phone is the highest value real estate in our space, we're all looking at these things all day long, and they've really become an extension of ourselves. So as we look at it in comparison to other traditional promotional products, really no comparison in terms of the impression value. So when we add functionality, when we add utility, when we add convenience to our devices, all those products really leverage this mobile real estate. And so again, this is really important to think about as you're working with your marketers and they're looking at high value impressions. So again, a few other of the categories that fall into this space, you've got your tech desk accessories, USBs, we've been in that business for 20 years and then of course you have to power your devices, and that's really become essential. We're gonna spend a lot of time today talking about powering our devices and how essential that's become in this time as well. And the cool thing about what we do, compared to what I did for the last 10 years before joining iClick about three years ago, is consumers are two and a half times more likely to have a positive opinion of the promo product than they do in response to traditional online advertising. So again, an opportunity to really leverage what we do with those marketers that are now looking at how do I capture that high value, low cost impression, where I really get that consumer engaged, and these products are a phenomenal way to do that. So certainly another thing that's gonna happen as a result of this part of the new normal, and we're seeing this with a lot of distributors, is we don't know who's gonna come out of this full strength, we're seeing a lot of account teams that have changed, and this all is unfortunate, but it also creates opportunity. And there's gonna be market share opportunity for all you guys out there to maybe diversify to some product categories you haven't traditionally sold, and pick up some new business. And so hopefully you'll see some stuff here today that'll help you leverage that opportunity. Again, just looking at how attached we are to our smartphone, we're on these things over four hours a day and certainly now as much or more than ever. So again, just a great branding opportunity, and as we say, anything that adds utility function and convenience to this device now and certainly powers the device is gonna be a great space to brand and market. All right, so I wanna jump right into some case studies and some projects we've worked on. You'll see a lot of kind of more generic names here, we've either have NDAs or are just more sensitive to the end user on these. But the projects are things we've done and these are great examples that everyone can leverage and sell in. So I wanna start here with actually one of the first projects we did when this all kind of was going down, and this was a really neat project we did for a Windsor Regional Hospital. And they wanted to show appreciation for their frontline healthcare workers and this was super cool. Again, it's really essential to power devices right now, particularly in healthcare settings. People are grinding all day long, and really our phones now become unfortunately for patients and that type of a thing, the only way to connect with people. So having power to those devices really is essential. And this was a great appreciation gift that we worked with Windsor on and the hashtag is super cool on this #SuperHero. And really that's what these folks are. So they leveraged P4000 4-in-1 flip. This is my favorite power bank that we offer. This is what I carry around personally every day. It's a 4000 mAh power bank, but what's awesome about our flip series is we've self contained all the connecting cables. So this is compatible with any device in the market, I've got a lightning, a micro USB and a Type-C adapter, all connected with the power bank. So I don't have to bring any kind of other cables with me. I've also got a universal USB port in the front of this thing as well, so I can literally charge two devices at once. The 4000 MAh power bank, so plenty of juice to get that quick charge throughout the day and keep your device powered. With your new smart phones, you wanna always be between 40 and 80% charged. So we say A-B-C always be charging. So that's a really good thing to share and pass on to your end users and your customers and no longer do you wanna run your battery all the way down to zero and recharge at night. That's the opposite of how you wanna manage your battery health. You'll always wanna be 40 to 80% charged at all times. So grabbing that quick charge and juicing back up to 40 to 80% is optimal battery health. And so our products really support that and the convenience of doing that. So again, we were really proud to be part of this. I think this might have been our first healthcare worker appreciation order that we worked on. So this was a really cool one. Some other products for healthcare that make a lot of sense, again, to power your device, we've got this little emergency charger that goes on a key ring at the 600 mAh power bank. So again, they're gonna get about a 25 to 30% charge, which means I can juice back up and grab that extra five to 10% to keep my phone within that 40 to 80% range several times throughout the day. And this can easily clip on my key ring, or stick in my pocket, or a case or a backpack, anything like that. So that's been really popular as well in the healthcare space right now. The Qi Quad is great for desktops. You're capturing that desktop real estate and it also has a wireless charging pad but also has two universal USB ports. So really more of a power hub. So for the desktop environments within healthcare, this has been a great product as well. Our PopWallet Plus which combines the function of a mobile wallet and the classic pop grip has been huge. One of the great things about this, it was really designed to be able to remove for wireless charging, so the wallet itself pops right off the phone so you can wirelessly charge, but right now what we're seeing, let's say when I run into the grocery store and I don't wanna expose my phone to everything in there, I can just pop the wallet portion off, I'll leave my phone in the car, run into the store, get what I need, I've got my credit card right on a wallet and then I can go and clip it right back on my phone when I'm done. It's a hard surface, so it's very easy to wipe with a disinfectant wipe. So that's been a super popular product as well right now. And then what we just launched, and I'm gonna feature a two products at the end here, but a UVClean Micro, this has taken advantage of that UV technology that we're hearing so much about right now. This a product that we've been developing for quite a while and we just launched it. And this is a very compact, portable version of UV cleaning technology. So I'm gonna speak more to the details of this, but a great product that's really portable can easily fit in your pocket, compatible with every device on the market and leverages that UV clean technology. So again, really fits into that essential category right now. So our next one, this was a company that actually does real estate software and work from home certainly has become a new normal. And I'm hearing now, I think just yesterday I saw that Twitter is telling their employees they never have to come back to the office. They can always work from home. So certainly companies are gonna re-evaluate their long-range plans in terms of having people in the office and that certainly will be a new normal. So obviously everybody's worked from home the last couple of months, but what we're gonna see is people rethinking their real estate strategies, rethinking their office strategies, and that type of a thing. And more and more people are gonna have the option to work from home more permanently. So certainly I'm sure that people have looked at work from home products and work from home kit, this is one we did that was really cool. It combines a Qi wireless charger, which is the Bevel, which has an aluminum wrap on it. So really aesthetically pleasing and cool looking. And this week we package this up with another no brainer work from home product, which is our iCamCover, which is a webcam cover. So I've used a webcam cover more in the last six weeks than I have probably in the last six months, easily. Just with the number of video calls I'm on, we've all seen kind of the zoom fail videos on YouTube and so webcam covers are obviously really convenient from that standpoint. But now obviously with security concerns, still as prominent as they've ever been and we're all on our webcam so much more in the home space, these are really an essential product as well and really a no brainer, low cost items to add into a work from home kit. So when you combine this desktop real estate with a wireless charger, again, you're powering your device, which I'm on mine right now, so we've got to keep it powered. And then we add this no brainer webcam cover makes a really cool work from home kit. So lots of different things we can add into that work from home space. Some other examples of this P5000 8-in-1 flip. This is a 5000 mAh power bank, but also a wireless charger. So again, compatible with every device out there and a really cool product that just adds a ton of function and utility to your phone while keeping it powered. Qi Mouse Pad has wireless charging built into a traditional mouse pad. So again, I'm capturing that front and center desktop real estate for a work from home employee, but I'm also adding a lot of function with a mouse pad and the ability to charge my phone wirelessly at the same time. The PopWallet is similar to the PopWallet Plus and that it removes from the back of the phone, it just doesn't incorporate the PopSocket grip. But I can do a full bleed imprint on that. So really cool. So a little lower cost if you just want, the wallet functionality, again are very removable, whether that's for a key card, whether that's for a credit card, it fits about four cards in there and then I can take this off of my phone and not expose my phone right now. And it's again a hard surface, I can just easily wipe clean with a disinfectant wipe. At the lower end of the budget, add function to the back of the phone capitalize on that mobile real estate, we've got different ring holders and stands. So this square metal ring holder is a great option, it's laser and gray, it is super slick, really flat at the back of the phone. But again, functions as a phone grip and a phone stand. So I'm just adding that utility to my phone and capturing that back of the phone real estate. So all these are great work from home options. I'm a Seattle Seahawks season ticket holder and I'm still paying for my ticket, so while there's some uncertainty around what's gonna happen with the football season, I've already paid for half of my season. So they're still charging fans and they're still gonna show appreciation for people like me and season ticket holder gifts. So this was when we worked on where just the combination of a few different products, and again, just add a lot of function and are fun, we've got the P600 Flip in here, which is that little emergency charging power bank. We've got a back of the phone, this doubles as the iShine five times, has a five times magnification compact mirror, and doubles as a phone stand. So again, the back of the phone adding utility and function to the back of the phone and capturing that real estate. And iPopStand here is a combination of a few traditional beverage wrench that I'm sure everyone sold millions out but it also doubles as a phone stand. So again, I'm adding functionality and utility here in kind of a classic promo product. So we packaged all three of these things out and it made a great season ticket holder gift. We also offer the iClingBox in four different sizes and that's a really great way to keep products up. So these things are great, sold separately and they work great in kits as well, so we've got a lot of options there. So a few other products that work in this space that we've worked on with clients. The Pixie Light, which is a clip on selfie light, so that illuminates for great selfies, cool tech accessory. Again, we see the PopWallet, which we showed a minute ago. And the PopThirst which incorporates your traditional beverage coolie with a PopSocket grip. And until you hold this in your hand, you really don't appreciate that. But once you wrap your hand around this thing and you've got that support of that PopSocket on your traditional beverage coolie the light bulb goes off. It's super cool. And I don't like to overthink this, I mean everyone's sold millions of beverage coolies and we've certainly sold millions of PopSockets. So it's peanut butter and chocolate, this is the Reese's peanut butter cup of promo you're just combining two great products into one here, so that's fun as well. And then our BluTune is another great option, a little more of that gifting price point, but again, for something like a season ticket holder gift, these are our wireless BluTunes headphones if I can say that. So a few other products that kinda either we can kit up and marry up some low budget items or kind of go up the ladder and offer some things in our Bluetooth audio lineup. We've got several other Bluetooth products as well, but that are great in that gifting space. So then we talk about work from home, but we also talk about back to work. So we're starting to see this as well and people planning to open back up offices and certainly, different states in our country right now are a little bit ahead of others out here in the Northwest, we're probably a little slower than some to reopen and proceeding with a lot more caution. And so we'll see what our phase roll out looks like. But in other parts of the country, things are starting to crank back up. So back to work is relevant right now for sure. So here's another kit we did with the PopWallet Plus, again, this is the removable mobile wallet with that PopSocket functionality, the Qi Square, which is actually less expensive than a PopSocket. Here's a great way to get into wireless charging at a really, really affordable price point. We've been extremely intentional with how we've priced our wireless charging offering to be a leader in that space. You still go to an Apple store, you're gonna see wireless charging pads still for upwards of 60, $80, depending on the aesthetic of it. You know, this is as low as 2.99 net to get into wireless charging. So if you've got something that you wanna either kit up and you wanna hit a budget price point or you just have a low budget as an individual opportunity, Qi Square and Qi Desk are both super valuable, great value price points, like I said, less expensive than a classic PopSocket grip and you can sell in a wireless charger. The great thing with wireless chargers you guys is the average consumer is gonna end up with four or five or six of this. I mentioned earlier, everywhere you go, you wanna be grabbing that quick charge. So with the charger, with a wireless charger, most of these need a power source, so as opposed to bringing it with you, you're going to it. So you're gonna want one in the kitchen, you're gonna want one in the bedroom, you're gonna want one in your office, you're gonna want one in the car. So anytime somebody gets one of these from an end user standpoint or consumer standpoint, they're not gonna be like, oh, I already have a wireless charger. They're gonna be sweet, I have another one, now I can put one in the bedroom, Now I can put one in the living room, you're seeing IKEA building into furniture, you're seeing auto manufacturers build this into center console with our cars. So this technology is really proliferated and so if you get adept at selling it, the great thing is, again, you can sell it into the same client multiple times because they're just different aesthetics and different functionality and different price points. But no one as an end user is ever gonna receive one of these and say, oh, I already have a wireless charger. So these are always relevant, and again, particularly right now, our devices are super essential and powering our devices become even as essential. So great products that are super relevant right now. Some other back to work options, again, that kind of welcome back, but obviously add functionality and efficiency into our day. We again talk about the Qi Mouse Pad that is that wireless charger built into the mouse pad functionality. We're all doing a lot of zoom calls and that kind of a thing right now. So Qi stand is great for that, if you're doing a call on your phone, it's a phone stand but also a wireless charger. So as I'm on zoom doing a video call, I can also be charging my phone simultaneously. So just that multifunction and capturing that desktop real estate. I mentioned Bluetooth audio. So our BluPods are great product from that standpoint. And then our UVClean P4000 Flip. So this is the second product I'm gonna talk about just a second, which incorporates that UV technology into a power bank, so this is awesome. Have got one of these sitting right here in front of me, 4000 MAh power bank, it's that 4-in-1 Flip that I mentioned is my favorite product from us in the power category, but the five here actually adds that UVClean technology. So I just press a button on my power bank and I light up that UVClean power and now I can start to clean hard surfaces. So I'm gonna talk through that in a second. One more case study I wanna walk through. This was for the grocery space and we did a couple of different projects here for a couple of different chains. One of them was for delivery drivers. And this is again, we leveraged the P4000, I'm sorry, this was, yeah, this was the P4000 we leveraged here to keep those guys powered up. And then for in-store employees, we did a project with P600UL. And this is again, that little emergency key chain charger, 600 aAh, but certainly in grocery people are putting in long hours and this just goes to keeping their devices powered. So these were both employee appreciation gifts, but again, adding a lot of convenience and taking advantage of the fact that really our devices are essential and keeping them powered is essential. So a couple of different products we did, for a couple of different projects in that grocery space. And certainly that's a vertical that we're seeing a lot of action in right now as well. Some other products that make sense there. But the PopThirst we just talked about this, that PopSocket with the cup sleeve. We've got two versions. We've got the the traditional coolie and then we've got the coffee cup sleeve as well. So we, this becomes a no brainer obviously and hospitality and beverage any kind of a coffee company, this becomes a no brainer for us, while you're marrying that cup sleeve with the PopSocket functionality, the PopPack, this is just combining the PopSocket with the car mount. So now I can go hands-free, so again, if you're a delivery driver, let's say, and I need to go hands-free, this is a great product right now to sell in. So it adds that functionality of going hands-free in the car with capturing the certainly the hugely popular PopSocket functionality. iPopStand we talked about which is our beverage wrench and phone stand combo and then the UVClean Micro I mentioned earlier as well and I'm gonna get into more details on that. And let's talk about those right now. So people are probably starting to see a lot of talk about UV Tech and we've been engineering these products for quite a while and we rushed these to production so we can make them available. What I can tell you right now is we're probably going to sell out very quickly, so I don't wanna over promise and under deliver here. If there's an interest here, I would say get your sample orders in, get mock-ups done right now. The UV lights themselves as the component of these products are in extremely high demand and short supply. So we are buying as much of this as we can right now so that we can produce more of these products. But I would say jump on this right now. The UV Micro is awesome. So when you look at different products in the market, you're gonna see that sort of the output measured either in wavelength or watt and what's good to know and we'll have more collateral on this. What's good to know is there are variables and really the three variables with these products are the distance from the surface, the time held on the surface, and then the output. So what I can tell you with ours is that, if you want the three inches from a surface for 30 seconds, that's when you're getting that 99.9% bacteria kill rate you'll see everybody count. So any product like this that I've seen shows a 99.9% bacteria kill rate. What you need to know is the variables within that are the distance from the surface and the time held on the surface. So this literally is just like sunlight. The UVClean Micro is awesome. This is the most portable product I've seen, and the most affordable at the lowest price point. So this is literally, I'm holding this in the palm of my hand right now, but I've got that same adapter that we use for our power banks, so I'm compatible. This actually for power source, this plugs right into my phone. So I've got the micro USB, the lightning, and the Type-C adapter all contained with the product here. And this just either I can hang it on a key ring or stick it in my pocket. I can plug this into my phone for power, it'll eliminate the... We've got an LED light here that cause UV is... You can't see UV light, so it's got an LED light that illuminates so you can see where the light's directed. And then if I'm at a restaurant, those are starting to open now maybe I wanna clean my silverware for 30 seconds before I dig in. There's a perfect product for that. Toothbrushes, keyboards in the office, anything that I wanna grab a UVClean on and again, kill 99.9% of that bacteria in 30 seconds. This is a great product for that. And as you look at these, this is the most portable and most cost effective we've seen. And so we're really excited about this. We've got a few thousand in stock right now, so hit us up for samples and mock-ups and let us help you sell this in. But certainly this is kind of that next wave of PPE kind of extension products that are incredibly relevant and we're selling a turn up. The next one is again the power bank. I've got this great functionality, I just showed you. Tons of examples of where we're selling power and which is essential to charge your phone. Now I add this component of UVClean technology, so this is awesome, I just press a button on the side of my power bank now and I activate my UV light and now I can clean, hard surfaces in 30 seconds. So really cool to combine both those technologies, our top selling power bank with this UVClean Tech. So both of these things are gonna, move very, very quickly, we just launched them so take advantage right now and hit us up for this and help us, and let us help you sell these in, 'cause you will be able to sell a ton of this. And as I said, we're, looking to replenish stock as soon as absolutely possible. We've got several thousand of both products in right now, but they're not gonna last long. So take advantage of that. I wanna go over some things here because one of my favorite cliches in sales is "Value doesn't exist unless it's communicated." So I always wanna remember to communicate the iClick value here. What's really cool is, for 20 years we were or we started 20 years ago, I should say, as a USB supplier, we differentiate in that commodity space with our service model and even through our expansive growth over the last few years, we didn't skip a beat in terms of these SLAs and what's really cool, even through what we've gone through here in the last three months, we haven't lost a bit in our service SLAs. So this is really the mission statement of our company is to provide the most remarkable service in the industry. And this is how we differentiate. So we want you to take advantage of this. Everything we do is free ground shipping, and so I always tell that to people they go, "It is?" And they always forget that, so I always remind myself to remind people, take advantage of the free ground shipping from us, all the products I showed you today, well the vast majority of them are available in our ReadyShip program and that's next day with no minimum order quantities or very little low minimum quantities. So that means you get us approved art and PO by 2:00 PM Pacific. We decorate, ship next day and that comes with a proof. And I've found that to be a huge differentiator as well. We made a big investment in our art production team, so everything we do is with a proof, even our next day production, there's no rush fees or anything like that. That's just standard operating for us. Next day, production with a proof and then free shipping. We're free samples. So, I know I've said that several times, but if you've seen anything today that you wanna get a sample of, please just shoot us a note to sales@iclick.com and we'll take care of you. We wanna help you guys sell and again, take advantage of that market share opportunity that exists right now. We turn quotes around in an hour or less. We turned free virtual proofs around in two hours or less. And so again, just really great service model. I'm really proud to be a part of and leverage that right now. Let us help you sell, if you haven't sold a lot of mobile tech, our team is really expert in this space. We can get you all the collateral you need to be able to sell this in. So take advantage of that opportunity. For being on the call today, if you use promo code SP50, we're gonna offer you 50% off EQP, so EQP less 50 with no setup or run charges, that's across any product. Okay, so anything I showed you today, you think would make a great self promo, I can tell you lots of them would, take advantage of this. So really aggressive offer and self promo, EQP less 50 with no setup or run charges. If you use the product yourself, you'll sell it as we all know. So please take advantage of this. All right, so I'm gonna flip over here and see what kind of questions we have. All right, great question is one I get all the time, how does this stuff we talk about in the back of the phone affect wireless charging? And again, like a lot of this stuff, there's some variables. So material is one of the variables. If it's metal on the back of the phone, you're not gonna be able to wirelessly charge through metal, a lot of the products that we have though, for example, the PopWallet series I showed, those are designed specifically for wireless charging. So literally there's a little adhesive strip base that remains on the phone that you can wirelessly charge through and then the wallet itself pops right off. So that's how those were designed. They were designed to be able to remove the wallet and then charge the phone wirelessly. So a lot of the product we have now, even the classic PopGrip, PopSocket now comes in a swappable model where I can twist the top right off the back of the phone and wirelessly charge. So it's really solved for a lot of the wireless charging issues in the back of the phone. But just so you know, really the variable is the distance between the coil and your phone and the coil and the charging pad. So it really depends on how much stuff you pile into the back of the phone and again, what that material is. But what we've been more conscientious, certainly from a product development standpoint, is making sure that our products add that multifunction of being able to be removed, to be able to wirelessly charge. Are samples shipped for free? Yeah, we will ship samples. Are chargers safe for iPhones? Yeah, chargers are safe for iPhones. They're compatible with every device. We've got the micro USB connector, the lightning and the Type-C. So they're compatible with all devices in the market. We are recording the presentation and we will be sending a recording of the presentation. It's a great question there. There's some issues downloading the case studies it looks like, so again, those are going to be sent. So we'll send those PDFs out after the presentation as well. That'll happen in the next day or so. I don't understand the UV? Okay, so this is brand new technology, so think of this as literally sunlight in your pocket. So we are using UV light here, which in and of itself kills bacteria. So the variable with this is the distance and the time that the light is exposed to a surface and that impacts the kill rate of, the bacteria on the hard surface. So literally these products right now, if you expose these to your skin, they'll function just like sunlight. And you will get tanned, in my case, burned with long exposure to this light on your skin. So this is literally just like sunlight, it's incorporated into these products. We are going to have a lot more information and data around this as well. There will be a white paper explaining this technology. It is, really new in terms of getting into products here for the consumer market and so testing protocols are being developed and we actually are putting products through new testing protocols that we've developed ourselves with our factories, and so, there's a lot of information that you'll need on this and we're gonna be loading you guys up with that. So rest assured, we'll get you all the information you need to sell this in, but literally it's sunlight in your pocket, and the UV Tech is been used for a really long time in healthcare environments and things like that. So it is proven and known technology, it just has not been available to consumer level in affordable products really, until really recently. Okay, so with wireless charging, can you charge through a thick phone case, like an OtterBox? And again, this really depends on how thick the case is. You've got about a three to five millimeter gap or distance that you can charge through. And if you think about this in terms of a pot of soup on your old burner on the stove top, it's very similar with that variable, the more I can align those things and the closer they can connect, the more efficiency I'm gonna get. So I may be able to charge through an OtterBox, it just might not be as efficient or as fast as if I didn't have the OtterBox in the back of the phone, for example. So again, there's just a lot of variables and it really depends on your phone, the thickness of your case, and that type of thing. All right It looks like that's all our questions and I am out of time. If you guys have more questions, please just send emails to sales@iclick.com. Give us a call, our team is standing by, experts in all these categories and questions. Again, we wanna provide collateral. We wanna provide information and we wanna make this easy and helpful for you guys to sell in. So I'm just gonna close and say there is a market share opportunity that exists right now. All these things are relevant in our current conditions, even though there's a lot of uncertainty out there. Some of these things are certain and these are successes we've had with other distributor clients and I want you guys to be able to take advantage of that. So again, please hit us up for samples, mock-ups, sales collateral, anything you need and we wanna be there to support you. So thank you again so much for joining and happy hunting out there to you guys and we'll talk soon and stay safe everybody.
