Data-lockData-locking refers to 'locking' files so that the end user is unable to delete them. Data-locking requires that the drive be partitioned into two parts. One part can be used like a normal flash drive: files can be loaded, opened and deleted as usual. The second part of the drive shows up on the computer as a CD-Rom drive and contains the locked data which cannot be deleted or edited. MAC users cannot view the locked portion of the drive. In need of ideas?- Are you pre-loading company files? Data-lock them to ensure that they aren't 'accidentally' - Adding an auto-run that you don't want removed? Add a data-lock - Will the pre-loaded files be used for the same purpose over and over? Data-lock the files - Do you need your files to remain unedited? Go with a data-lock to keep the originals secure - Or give us a call to discuss your project needs and we'll find a solution for you! |
